Art Consulting Services

Art consultancy is a service for the customer who desires more information about the art they own.  Most often it is a casual, verbal examination to determine age, medium, and authenticity.  Sometimes research is requested and this is more lengthy and requires a fee.  This may be to determine more about the artist, the value of the piece, etc.  Insurance appraisals for damaged works also has a fee and includes a written document for your insurance company.

A magnifying glass is useful to help decipher signatures or to see if your picture has dots like those below.  If you see dots, you can tell that your picture is a reproduction.
